And then there’s the douche…..

The recent gathering for congressional candidates in FL 24 district inspired this brave reporter to do a little checking into the background of the potential representatives. Before we could make a rational endorsement, we needed a “Cyber Meet and Greet” to learn for ourselves- who would best represent this pivotal district.

Please review the following candidate bios, including their education history and accomplishments. Then read the resume of the “PEOPLE’S CHOICE” Larry “Fatty Tuna Douche Submissive Hungry Bottom” Sinclair. We believe the choice will be obvious!!!

Karen Diebel

Mother, businesswoman, and community leader, Karen Diebel currently serves as the Vice Mayor and City Commissioner of Winter Park, Florida. Since taking office in March 2007, she’s fought hard to bring solutions-oriented government to the city in which she lives. Whether it’s expanding regional mobility, curtailing government waste, improving emergency response or preserving environmentally-sensitive wetlands, Karen has made a positive difference. As our Congresswoman, Karen promises to take that same common-sense approach to Washington.

Karen Diebel knows about what it takes to get our economy moving again. As an Executive Director at Verizon Business, Karen helps companies grow by finding solutions to complex technological challenges. Because of her work, she earned a spot on the Orlando Business Journal’s 2009 list of “Women Who Mean Business.” Karen knows first - hand that Florida’s 24th District has more technology jobs at stake than anywhere in the country. By leveraging her business experience in Congress, Karen will fight to restore our local economy and keep our Space Coast, biotech and research jobs where they belong - right here in Florida.

Her compassionate leadership continues to make Central Florida a better place. In memory of her late husband, Karen co-founded the N. Donald Diebel, Jr. M.D. Good Samaritan Fund in 2004. The Foundation provides medical care to uninsured women and children, serving nearly 1000 patients annually. For Karen, her service to others is rooted in her deeply-held faith. She is a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame (B.B.A., Finance). Karen received her M.B.A. from the University of South Florida.

Sandy Adams

Sandy Adams is a wife, mother, law enforcement officer and servant of the people of central Florida. She personally understands the struggles many Floridians are facing in these tough economic times and is committed to fight for those concerns. Sandy experienced personal hardships as a young adult and struggled as a single mother to finish college and support her young daughter. She persevered with honor. Both she and her daughter are proud college graduates. Sandy served her community for 17 years as Deputy Sheriff in Orange County before running and being elected to the Florida State Legislature in 2002. Today, she and her husband, John, reside in Orlando and are the proud parents of three children.

After winning her first election to the Florida House of Representatives in 2002, Sandy was tapped to Chair Homeland Security Workers’ Compensation workgroup. Within her first two years in the House of Representatives Sandy served as Chair of the Seminole County Legislative Delegation. Over the next couple of years Sandy served as Chair of the Orange County Legislative Delegation and is currently the Chair of the Seminole County Legislative Delegation once more. Sandy’s current committee assignments are Chair of the Criminal and Civil Justice Appropriations Committee, Vice-Chair of the Criminal and Civil Justice Policy Council, Vice-Chair of the Public Safety and Domestic Security Policy Committee and Vice-Chair of the Select Committee on Seminole Indian Compact Review, and she is a member of the Full Appropriations Council on General Government and Health Care and the Rules and Calendar Council.

In 2006 as chair of the House Domestic Security Committee, Sandy worked to pass landmark legislation relating to the security of our seaports, general aviation airports, and hurricane preparedness and recovery. Among Sandy’s other legislative achievements are sales tax relief, changing the DCD formula so our local schools received adequate funding, tougher sentences for sexual predators, protecting the victims of crimes, protecting personal information of concealed weapon permit holders, ensuring services for our seniors and our most vulnerable citizens, and Sandy stood up for homeowners against eminent domain laws that threaten private property rights. Sandy has also filed Enforcement of Immigration Laws legislation for the last two years.

Sandy has worked tirelessly and with honesty and integrity for the people of central Florida. She has a proven record as a consensus builder, working with all sides to find common ground and get the job done. Sandy will take those same no-nonsense, conservative leadership skills to Washington.

“Mrs. Adams … is a bright, hard-working individual with a long record of public-service achievements in law enforcement…has tirelessly traversed the district for months, listening to voter concerns” – Orlando Sentinel, endorsement, October 2002

“Her success in that area and others, coupled with her ability to work across party lines, makes Ms. Adams the best…Her leadership skills are reflected in her ability to push successfully…Ms. Adams ‘ passion for public safety is understandable…But she’s branched beyond that expertise.” – Orlando Sentinel, endorsement, October 26, 2006

The Orlando Sentinel deemed Adams “an expert on public-safety issues and committed to the thankless but essential task of juvenile-justice reform.” (11/2/08)

“I have devoted my life to my family, my profession, and a personal crusade on behalf of the citizens of Florida,” Sandy said. “I think I have had a positive impact on all these areas.

Bob Robey

My life has afforded me a wide variety of experiences. I have lived and worked all over the world in countries that include the United States, England, France, Italy, Austria, and Germany. I have worked in jobs that include the intelligence community, a technician in the worldwide military command and control system, support for operational war planning in manpower and personnel processing, the healthcare industry, software engineering, and the financial industry including mortgage systems, accounting and banking. I have met and worked with people from almost every walk of life. I am married to a great woman, wife and mother. I want to go to Washington and represent district 24 because I believe that this country is the greatest on the planet and with the right people we can fix the problems we face without destroying our democracy.

Education
: I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and I have a Master’s of Science degree in Accountancy.

Military Service: After from graduating high school in 1971 I enlisted in the United States Air Force and worked in the communications field for the intelligence community and was honorably discharged in 1977.

After leaving the Air Force, I worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency in the National Military Intelligence Center (Joint Chiefs of Staff) at the Pentagon.

Government Service:
When I left the Defense intelligence agency I worked for a private contracting company on the World Wide Military Command and Control System in various countries around the world and eventually ended up working on a manpower and personnel system project for the Air Force Military Personnel Center at Randolph Air Force Base Texas that successfully allowed for the deployment of 500,000 troops for Desert Shield.

Small Business Owner

The next phase in my life started with my opening a software engineering company in Florida. For 10 years, I experienced the challenges facing small businesses and the pressures of that the overbearing government bureaucracy puts on a small-business. In September of 2001 (9/11) most services companies took a turn for the worst and mine was no exception. I entered into the financial industry where I am working today.

Why I Want To Serve This Nation Again

I have watched this country go from the largest producing nation in the world with a very high level of personal responsibility into an ever-increasing nation controlled by a corrupt national bureaucracy that has stolen the best attributes of this nation and penalized those that practice such things as integrity, honesty, good work ethic, and personal responsibility are viewed as undesirable traits.

I have watched a government that was previously responsible to the voters transition into a government that ignores the wishes of the voters. We must at least try to restore this nation to a producer nation and improve the livelihood of each American. To do this we must send people to Washington that remember how great this country was and how great he can be once again. The people sent to Washington must represent their constituents, their friends and neighbors, and can promote legislation that will reflect all that is good in this wonderful nation.

This is probably our last chance to restore this nation to the ideals that our forefathers envisioned. It is time for America to rise to this challenge as it has so many other times before.

Chad MacInnes

Chad and his wife Pamela live in east Orlando with their two children.

Chad was raised in the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts, and while growing up enjoyed hockey, music, and reading. With the support of his parents and the inspiration of his uncle, a pilot living in Alaska, Chad earned his private pilot license at age 18. He also served his community as a law enforcement officer with the local police department in Medway, MA, working the overnight shift while attending classes as a full-time student during the day.

Chad ultimately received a B.A. in Government from Clark University in Worcester, MA. He was fortunate to have studied a well-rounded curriculum under a diverse and experienced faculty. His favorites were, and still are, political and economic theory, history, and human action. He also studied philosophy at St. John’s Seminary in Boston, MA.

Shortly after graduating, Chad enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed as an Infantryman and OCS candidate at Ft. Benning, GA., and received an honorable discharge for his service.

Using his benefits from the G.I. Bill, Chad moved to Texas to pursue a flying career, and it was in Dallas that he met his wife, Pamela.

Chad was hired as a co-pilot by a large regional airline in 2000, and he and Pam moved to Massachusetts, where they lived in South Boston. Chad was first based out of LaGuardia in New York City and then Logan in Boston. Chad upgraded to captain, and shortly thereafter the couple moved to Orlando where Chad was based as a check-airman and training captain, until he resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Since then Chad has been studying, writing, watching the stock market, and helping raise his two children, Maria and Sean.

Chad’s passion for learning about economics and banking has compelled him to make the decision to run for Congress to represent Florida’s 24th District. He is convinced that the road currently being traveled is the proverbial “Road to Serfdom” and threatens the future liberty and prosperity of this great nation. Chad firmly believes that local efforts can best solve local problems, and that the imposition of Federal bureaucracy will only do more harm. The first order of business for Chad would be to get the Federal government out of our business and out of our wallets.

Chad fundamentally believes in limited government, respect for private property rights, free markets, low taxes, and sound money as the essential elements to the preservation of our liberty. He also believes in the sanctity of life and the importance of family and that the Federal government has no jurisdiction over these issues either through legislation, judicial action or executive policies and orders, as such issues are not mentioned in Article I, Section 8, and are therefore the exclusive domain of the states and the people under the 9th and 10th Amendments.

Chad is an Oath Keeper, a member of the Campaign For Liberty, the Ludwig von Mises Institute, the NRA and AOPA.

Heinie Heinzelman

I believe that being a candidate is a long and detailed job interview with the voters of District 24. I further believe, as a citizen who has voted in every presidential election starting with Richard Nixon (3 times) and over 90% of all other elections including primaries, that the main reason we have so many people in office who have not represented us well in the past, is because they were not vetted properly. I encourage every legal citizen/voter to not only vote but to do it with the necessary knowledge to pick the best possible people to represent them.
