After suffering a near-fatal brain hemorrhage, Bret Michaels will reportedly return to the road at the end of the month.

The Poison frontman was forced to scrap a string of shows due to the hemorrhage and a previous appendectomy - but now he's keen to get back onstage and will perform at Biloxi, Mississippi's, Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on May 28.

A spokesman for the venue tells local newspaper the Sun Herald, "We're very excited. He's been coming to us since 2007, and he's come back every year. We're excited he's in good health and that he's starting his comeback tour with us."

uabenggrad, you made a very good point. Every single serial killer in our nation's history has been proven to have a history of animal abuse. Someone needs to step in and intervene with those children now. The parents should be questioned as well. It's a shame some adult was not present and did not take that baseball bat away and beat the little monsters' butts with it. That is exactly what they needed their first punishment to be. As for being charged with animal cruelty-there is NOTHING cruel about that. They should be charged and convicted. They should every one spend a few nights locked up to scare the daylights out of them, and then they should have to spend every waking minute of their summer vacation doing community service through animal rescue groups. Maybe then they would learn a little compassion and empathy rather than violence and cruelty. Putting up with trash like those brats is what is wrong with our society today. We need to draw a hard line on crimes like animal abuse so it can be removed from our world.
