Isn't this important subject supposed to be a search for truth. I am very discouraged by the diversions of a propaganda competition.

Many seem unconcerned about uncovering the actual mechanisms of Climate and are only interested in winning the debate, and the successful implementation of cherished ideology.

The only question that should be central is:

Does anthropogenic C02 cause significant warming of the planet earth and if so, is warming a benefit or a hindrance to the lives and circumstances of humanity??!

If man can indeed force climate then shouldn't we be nudging climate towards optimum? So the ultimate question becomes "what is the optimum climate for mankind and his vital eco-system?"

Only with a consensus of optimum, can we begin to answer the secondary questions.

Does this generation actually believe, that this generation, just happens to have been born, in the best possible climates, of all time?? Many civilizations of warmer, wetter periods, may disagree.

Many need to re-think, what we are debating! This debate is not about which technology is the most effective propaganda tool.GK
