February 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor Ganesh's film, 'Mungaru Male', is now set for a Tamil remake.
The flick has already been remade into Telugu and Bengali. In fact, even popular Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor bought the rights of the movie for a Hindi remake. Now, a Tamil version of the film is about to be made. According to sources, Ganesh will be playing the lead even in the Tamil version. That would make it his Tamil debut.
Bet this was one good piece of news for Ganesh's Tamil fans!

Feb 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): M S Viswanathan the popular music director who is popularly known as 'Mellisai Mannar' (Tamil, for 'The King of Light Music') has been awarded the Life Time Achievement Award and Prasasthi Pattiram certificate. In his thanksgiving speech the veteran musician who has also acted and sung in few films says, "There are so many great stalwarts in the cine field compared to them I am a small dust. Even now I am growing in music field."
Ex MP Thirunavakarasu, singers Hariharan, Jayachandran, Unni Krishnan, Unni Menon, Tippu, Chitra, Sujatha, Harini, directors K S Ravikumar, Ramanathan, Dharani, Srikanth, Jai Akash, Harikumar, Devayani, Ambika and Sandhya participated in this function.
MS Viswanathan has been ennobled as the greatest legend in Tamil music industry. He had pioneered lots of innovative conceptualizations of blending western musical genres in Tamil songs.
